Bernie Sanders should become our next president because of his ideals and his stance on marijuana, immigration, and the college for all act. The war on drugs has been on going throughout the U.S for a very long time and had costed many lives. Much of the reason for the deaths is because of the smuggling and what not of the drugs. “The war on drugs is a failed policy.” He believes He believes that non violent offenders should not be put in jail but get treatment for their addiction. He also thinks that the medical use of marijuana should be completely legal. Bernie says, “would vote a yes as a resident of a state considering legalization.” He would leave it up to the state but he would allow recreational use of marijuana. He has been involved in many cases of domestic violence and many cases with women including assault. Is this the type of person we want in charge of our country? The democratic candidate Hillary Clinton has been caught many times lying about past actions. One example is her view on same sex marriage. Years ago she has talked about how she doesn’t believe it is right or should be legalized. What seems like what has happened is she changes her views according to what would get her more votes. These people would not be fit to be the
