Cancer prevention:
Blueberries
Spinach Blueberries is one of the many cancer preventing foods. Blueberries are full of antioxidants and flavonoids that prevent cell damage from happening. Antioxidants is a substance, like Vitamin C or E that counteracts the damaging effects of oxidation in a living organism. A flavonoid is any group of organic compounds that occur as a pigments in fruits and flowers. One thing that antioxidants is neutralize free radicals, atoms that contain an odd number of electrons and are highly unstable. The free radicals can cause a type of cell damage thats a big part of cell development.

Spinach is another of the many foods that prevent cancer. Spinach can prevent breast cancer, stomach cancer, skin cancer and the carotenoids can prevent prostate cancer and ovarian cancer. Prostate cancer is a disease in which cells of the prostate gland become abnormal and start to grow uncontrollably, forming tumors. It is the 2nd leading cause of male death in the U.S. Ovarian cancer comes from the outer lining of the ovary. This cancer is the 8th most common cancer for woman living in the U.S.

2. Other Health Benefits of Cancer Ingredients Blueberries: Blueberries have a potential benefit for the nervous system and brain health. Blueberries can also improve someones memory. The best part is that if you freeze them it wont destroy the anthocyanin antioxidants. Blueberries have Vitamin C that supports the immune system and takes in iron, it also keeps blood vessels firm. Spinach: Spinach protects the brain function from premature and slow old ages negative on metal capabilities, it also prevents harmful effects of oxidation on the brain and decreases in brain function loss. Spinach has Vitamins A, C, and B9. It also has zinc, calcium, potassium and carotenoids. Carotenoids is a group of several hundred substances found in some fruits, vegetables and green leafy vegetables.
