Respondents There were a total of 24 respondents to whom I sent the request for stories of me that reflected my best self. 8 were friends, 4 family, 6 colleagues and 6 former students. I received back 5 friends, 4 family 4 colleagues, and 4 former students, a total of 16.This was 66% response.
My Best Self When I am at my best, I am creative. I am able to easily and clearly assess a situation quickly and utilize the resources at my disposal to ensure a successful outcome. I have been told by my pastor that I think on my feet which meant if I were given an impromptu task to perform, I could execute it prolifically within minutes. My thoughts and ideas for family, friends, and students always hinge on the creative. I think outside the box and like to make my teaching style different and unique. The panache and finesse of my bulletin boards garnered prominent positioning at the main entrance of my school. A fellow teacher remarked that she had never seen a full place setting on a bulletin board with writing on plates about what the children were
