An Adventure You Will Never Forget When fishing comes to mind thousands of places are available for it. However I have found that ice fishing is one of the most enjoyable things I have ever done. For Ice fishing the number one place is Whitehorse, Yukon Territories up in Canada. You cannot imagine how much fun I had, one of the best things about ice fishing in Whitehorse is that you do not need to be a professional fisher to enjoy the adventure. The conditions over there are significantly different as they can go as low as -45F and the ice on the lakes could be between 30 centimetres and 1 meter thick. It may sound incredible, but it is the perfect place to have a great encounter with nature. Whitehorse is located up in north Canada, just two hours driving from Alaska. The people I found in that small town are phenomenal; they were always trying to help me without expecting anything in return, which made my experience even better. Whitehorse is not a tourist town, the only foreign visitors they get there are people looking for extreme adventures, people ready to enjoy an unusual experience like ice fishing and hunting, I also met Allan, a native Canadian that showed me they are professionals doing those kind of activities, you just have to trust them and follow all the instructions they give and I promise you will have the best ice fishing experience in your life. However; ice fishing is not an easy adventure, you have to be ready for extremely low temperatures as low as -45F which for me, that live in Florida, was totally incredible and hard to deal with it. Fortunately over there in Whitehorse they offered all the necessary equipment for my trip, like fishing tools, transportation, healthy snacks that helped my body to keep a nice temperature, and even winter clothes which are the most important an expensive part of the tour, they gave me jackets that are made from goose and are designed for

My goal is to become a professional soccer player and once I retire become a sports commentator. A professional soccer player is an athlete who is paid to play for a soccer team at the professional level. Although being a professional soccer player for a job seems like little work, it actually involves a lot of high intensity work. Most teams have mandatory trainings up to 6 times a week, which include very hard workouts most people could not keep up with. Other duties include constantly watching your diet, attending mandatory games across the country, and during off season, hours of excruciating training. On the high end, women professional soccer players can be paid up to $15 per hour and range anywhere between $6,000 and $30,000 per year.…

Firstly, Canadian citizens are among the hardiest people on earth when it comes to resisting Mother Nature. Canada is battered each year with ice storms, hurricanes’ and windstorms, yet we Canadians grit our teeth and fight through it. This treacherous weather helps bring Canada together, and unite us when things are at their worst. For example, during the 2013-2014 ice storms many parts of Ontario where left without power for days, yet out of this horrible tragedy, Canadians banded together and helped each other out, lending each other generators and supplies to help get through this hard time together as a nation. Canada is also ranked as the second coldest country on earth, with an average annual temperature of -3.6 degrees (Anand) with an annual temperature below freezing Canada is well suited for winter sports like skiing and snowmobiling. The most Northerly settlement on earth is Alert, Nunavut, Alert is a Canadian Military and research base on the Northern Tip of Ellesmere Island, the lowest recorded temperature in Alert was -64 degrees Celsius, that’s the same temperature as the surface of Mars!(CFS Alert). It’s this extreme weather that allows us Canadians to grow tough, unite together against winter, and succeed at sports like skiing and hockey.…

Be especially aware of ice on bridges and overpasses. The cold weather makes it dangerous to get stranded, and the more remote the areas you travel are, the harder it will be for rescue crews to find and get to you. Always make sure your vehicle has plenty of gas. Maintain a winter survival kit in your vehicle. In the event you do not arrive on time, law enforcement officials will know where to search for you and your vehicle. Be aware of your location in the event you need to summon help or call 911. Plan ahead and select your route before you leave home or business. Give yourself plenty of travel time. If the storm becomes too much for you, please take refuge immediately. Finally, it's critical to pack well and have a "winter survival kit" already in your trunk. A road trip in the winter without the proper planning and supplies could turn into a disaster. Make sure you pack enough food and water for yourself or at least for 2 people for a week worth of goods. In case you do get stranded, you will have the supplies needed for winter survival, and you just have to act on it. Have some cash on you at any time. Here's a basic winter off road kit to get you started. You can add items to the list as needed: Off Road Winter Survival Kit Cell phone's rechargeable cord. Extra food - chocolate, snack bars are good…

While the campground was almost totally primitive, the magnificent beauty of the snow capped mountains even in the summertime more than made up for the not so up-scaled campgrounds. The hiking trails and running rivers were equally represented, but were not to be topped by the abundance of wild life so well represented in this wilderness area. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a moose with an 8-10 point rack standing close to the shores of a crystal clear lake with the shadows of the snow capped mountains casting a double panorama with the reflections on the mirror image provided by the crystal clear lake. There were also such amenities as trout fishing in the fast moving streams a stone’s through from the campground and rental horses where one can ride the horse freely over the range with the only restriction of having the horses back at the stables at a certain time. Both Michael and Stephanie became fairly good horseback riders during our camping trips to…

Soccer is the most popular sport in the world with billions of people in all countries following their team. But despite soccer’s popularity, it does not seen right that soccer players should get paid the amounts they do when their job is not as worthwhile and life threatening as other jobs like soldiers and doctors. Currently the top ten players in the world earn between $15million to $50million a year, compare this with normal jobs where people earn $32,000 a year. The highest earning player is David Beckham who earns approximately $966,000 per week, working out to be $50 million per year (Kaitlin Madden). The only way to control the salaries of soccer players is for the soccer bodies such as UEFA and FIFA to put a cap on the amount of money a team is allowed to spend on player wages. No countries currently have a cap although Italian soccer teams had looked into it a few years ago but never went through with it. A cap system would not only lower wages but would ensure fairness between all the teams in a league.…

The kids will play for hours in the falls a beautiful place where my family and I love to take pictures and capture the moments of our lives.
