Treachery, an act of deliberate betrayal. In William Shakespeare play "Macbeth" and "Hamlet" the theme of betrayal lead to death of the tragic hero. Halmet, Macbeth and Othello ties together for a little of betrayal. Soon to be leading to death/you cant always trust the people you live with or befriend. In the tragic herofic novel "Hamlet". Claudius the queens brother is now the king drastic shocking. This happens in the garden while the real king (Hamlet's) father was taking a nap (1.5.35,40).
