Betrayal: Best Friend
Being betrayed by your best friend is one of the most difficult things you might have to deal with. I suppose that I wouldn't really know anything about that due to never considering myself as my best friend. I guess the worst betrayal one can go through is betraying yourself. I have gone through that many times, it's awful and it hurts when it does happen. You never think that you can actually hurt yourself so terribly that it would affect your life until it happens. I've learned over the past years that you cannot sit there and think that you have a best friend unless you realize that you are your own best friend.
You have to learn to love and trust yourself before you can love and put trust in a “best friend”. So I've recognized that the people I thought were my best friends throughout these years were actually just people I was associated with, acquaintances. This also shows how you can not rely on people. You always find something new about that person and some may never show their true colors. Some people may think that you can't be best friends with yourself but if you love and trust yourself you can. This is actually a good thing, it teaches you to love and care for yourself; depend on yourself and to make sure that you don't have to depend on others for advice when really you can solve the problem yourself.
When I did I realized how dreadful awful I betrayed myself and also the people around me I saw how much it hurt. I told myself that I would never do it again and that I needed to learn to love myself so I could grow up and acquire a best friend the right way. One may trying to do best by not treating themselves that way anymore and to straighten up completely make sure you don't betray myself anymore. I feel that it's a lot more harmful a person to betray themselves than it is to betray another person. I have also learned that not everyone feels the same way as you, there for do not know how bad they hurt you. Most teenagers seem to think lacking

The friends that I used to have were very unreliable, trusting them was more work than it should have been. Seeing how they treated others around them made me change my opinion about them. To this day I am still friends with Carla, my other friends and I don’t talk anymore. Friends who you can trust and rely on without thinking are the people that you should strive to be around. Choosing which friends to trust, and to not trust is a tiring thing to do, but you should always choose someone who you know would stick up for you no matter the…

A best friend is someone who is always there for you, someone you can trust and who trusts you- or is it? At least, this is what most people think of when they think of the term ‘best friend’. But what if the person you have always considered your best friend betrays you, becomes jealous of you, doesn’t trust you, and even could have caused your death? Are they still your best friend? Are these behaviors just small mistakes that every human makes or are they really worth forgiving? Can two people with this relationship still remain friends? In the book A Separate Peace, author John Knowles uses his two main characters, Gene Forrester and Phineas to show that friends can have disagreements, but major characteristic differences like jealousy…

Being betrayed has effects on both the betrayed and the betrayer. Not just one person feels the effects of being betrayed, yet multiple people can feel the effects. The betrayed typically have the roughest time getting over being betrayed. The burden of getting betrayed will live with the individual for the rest of their life and the betrayed will “replay the conversation over and over in their head” (Hosseini 149). The betrayer can also have a burden for having betrayed the other. The betrayer hurts the other person by being unfaithful to the other character. This causes the betrayed to not be able to trust the betrayer because of the betrayer’s action. A relationship between two people can be torn apart because of one betraying the other.…

In this case study Jane is accused of her husband’s murder. She was identified by a witness however Jane insists she was out of town at the time of the event but has no supporting data to collaborate her story. The purpose of this paper is to discuss whether I would forge Jane’s signature on a document to prevent her from being found guilty in a court of law and potentially receiving the death penalty. In addition, I will discuss this as it pertains to utilitarianism, egoism, and Interpretations of the “Golden Rule” from Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Confucianism. I will also discuss the results by the application to the facts and consider the questions: Was it right for you to forge your client’s signature on the register? When a person is betrayed by someone he or she loves, something profound happens in the heart of the betrayed person. It is not simply that someone has "let you down," or "double-crossed you." Rather, the betrayer has done an action or taken special information and used it to harm you. The betrayer has held a position of confidence of your most sacred secrets, and then they treat those secrets as if they are to be exploited. A betrayer is a person who knows your heart and has ripped into that heart and ripped out that heart by exposing and exploiting your vulnerabilities. Betraying another person has become okay in modern day society due to the fact that we feel that we need to preserve ourselves, we have to defend our personal relationships with others, and we must always serve the greater good.…

For most people, it is really hard to find someone who is completely honest, loyal, and a positive influence on your life, but there’s always a best friend for someone. Almost everyone has one and almost everyone is one. For me, I personally do not have a best friend. I stay to myself a lot and I’m not open about everything, it’s also hard to gain a new best friend if all of your old friends went off to college. A best friend is someone who is very generous, they’re there to lend you money when you run out, be your shoulder to cry on, and go out of their way if they really care about you. A best friend can be someone whom you’ve known since childhood but can also be someone that you’ve just met, and you both just click.…

As long as I live, I will never tolerate the concept of betrayal. Oh, don't get me wrong, I comprehend completely the meaning of the word and all the subtle, nasty nuances associated with committing the act itself. What I cannot do, and to a lesser extent refuse to do, is accept how someone can graciously open their world to you like they're opening a chest full of rare, precious treasures one day and the next, slam the lid down, smashing your fingers in the process, carelessly plucking you from it the next. That's exactly what happened to me, and let me state for the record, I did nothing to deserve such harsh treatment.…
