While there are multiple incredibly famous stars we all know by name, most don’t have a special title such as “queen” preceding them. Why isn’t Taylor Swift even considered a princess? Why have critics only taken note of Ariana Grande’s amazing vocals on her latest album and nothing more? Why hasn’t Gwen Stefani’s “This is What the Truth Feels Like” sparked any conversation while Beyonce’s “Lemonade” still has the world talking?

No, but in our eyes, she can do no wrong. We will continue to endlessly praise her even after she stops releasing music. Why? Because she doesn’t care what people think and isn’t afraid to make her stance on relevant, underrepresented issues known.
No one else at Beyoncé’s level in the music industry does that. And because no one else does that, no one else is able to turn down interviews because they want to keep their life outside of music private and get away with it. No one else (besides maybe Adele because she’s somewhat special too), can screw up on national television and still be commended for delivering an “excellent” performance. But Beyoncé can. Beyoncé can do whatever she wants because she truly runs this world.
Personally, I’m okay with Beyoncé running things because she is committed to making a difference. Sure, Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” is a great album (if you’re into that, I guess), but it’s no different than One Direction’s “Made in the A.M.” Both albums just catalog their lives, mainly the personal issues they’ve faced and yeah, they can be relatable, but they surely don’t improve society.
