YAHWEH-JIREH-- The Lord will Provide
Verse:
(Genesis 1:9)--The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Lord made all of trees.
God was pleased after creating the tree
God thought the trees were good for food.
God put the “Tree of Life and the Tree of the knowledge of the Good and Evil” at the middle of the garden.
(Genesis 2:16-17)-- And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
God let the man eat from any tree except one.
God told the man not to eat from the “Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.”
(Genesis 3:6-9)-- The woman could see that the tree was beautiful and the fruit looked so good to eat. She also liked the idea that it would make her wise. So she took some of the fruit from the tree and ate it. Her husband was there with her, so she gave him some of the fruit, and he ate it. Then it was as if their eyes opened, and they saw things differently. They saw that they were naked. So they got some fig leaves, sewed them together, and wore them for clothes. During the cool part of the day, the Lord God was walking in the garden. The man and the woman heard him, and they hid among the trees in the garden. 9 The Lord God called to the man and said, “Where are you?”
God walks at the Garden.
God doesn’t respond to the man angrily, even though the man disobeyed. (Jeremiah 29:11)—“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
God has plans for us.
God seems to care for us.
God’s plan is not to harm us but to give us hope and future.
