Biblical World View
One may wonder if God still has a hand on His creation today and if so, how? Take biology, without plants giving off oxygen we wouldn’t be able to breathe. How does the tree know how to produce oxygen? How do we know how to naturally breathe in and out? Look at Business. How does one know how to be ethical and moral? Well according to the Holy Bible, God is very much still active in His creation and in a variety of ways.
First, God works in the universe. As a prophet of God, King David, said in Psalm 19, verse 1, “The heavens are telling the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.” One can hardly look at the beauty, the order, and the wisdom of the universe and not see how wise and powerful God is. The God who makes the sun shine and the flowers bloom, the God who regulates times and seasons has such great power and wisdom that it is truly beyond our understanding. Paul declared in Acts 14, verses 16 and 17: "And in the generations gone by He permitted all the nations to go their own ways; and yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness." Everything we have comes from the blessings of God.
Second, God is at work answering everyone’s prayer. The Bible says in Isaiah 65, verse 24, "It will also come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear." God wants to hear your prayers. He is eager to hear our thoughts and request. He has a desire to have a relationship with His children. The Bible says in James 1, verse 17 that, “Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.” God loves us enough to hear our prayers and to help us when we need Him most. The apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 3, verses 20 to 21, “Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever, Amen.”
Third, God is busy shaping our everyday lives. He works in us day by day second by second. The Bible says in Philippians 1 and verse 6, “For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” God prepares His people to do His work, so that we may live an eternity in heaven with Him. What God is doing in us now prepares us for the life to come. This is happening to people in every major not just bible majors. The Bible says in Philippians 2, verses 12 and 13, “So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” God is shaping our hearts, our attitudes, our will, and our lives to conform to His will, so that we could live with Him and He could live with us forever.
With a major in Business I know my God is active in every decision making process. Through hiring and firing, expanding or downsizing, and even though negotiations God is at work. The bible says in Deuteronomy 8 verse 18, “But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.” All of our skills and special talents that we use in our businesses are all given to us by God. He gives us the ability to make money and cut deals. He did it for our parents and mentors and he does it for us too.
Jesus is not only our Creator; He is also the one who keeps this whole world running together. The Bible says in Colossians 1, verses 15 to 17, “And He [that is Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created by Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” God’s power and wisdom created our seasons which cause the earth to rotate every 24 hours making night and day. He created the moon to revolve around the earth every 28 days and it also controls the tides of the oceans. God causes the earth to go around the sun every 365 and one fourth days determining our year and our seasons. There is no way this just happened by its self. No, God has been in control the entire time.

In Genesis 1:1 we see the verse that tells us, “God created the Heavens and the Earth.” This shows the believers that God is the creator of all things. God is proud of everything that He has created and wants these creations to be a follower of Him and to multiply the Earth. Psalms 104:31 are one of my favorite verses, “May the Lord rejoice in His works” because I like to remind myself that He takes in pride in what He creates, and He created me and every one else with so much love. This verse is a good reminder of how God rejoices in all His creation. In Ephesians 2:10 we see that man was created in the image of God for a purpose, “for good works, which God prepared ahead of time, so that we should walk in them.” God has always been involved in His creations and in our lives.…

In the following essay on Biblical World View of, Business Administration, with the foundational Christian belief that man was created in the image of God. There will be two examples in this essay that will explain this view. In the first example, I will be going over leadership and how important it is as a Christian to remember your foundational belief that we are created in the image of God. The second example, I will be discussing the importance of honesty for Christians, since we are created in the image of God. “Immediately following each day of creation God saw that it was good, but after the creation of man, God saw that it was very good”. For example, having money is something that we all desire. Grudem clarifies that “while the love of money is evil, money itself is not inherently good or evil. Money is nothing more than a medium of exchange. Money provides people the opportunity to purchase something in God 's creation. In order to accurately and biblically take hold of this opportunity, one must begin with the foundation that nothing is owned unconditionally, but is simply given out by a benevolent God. Once realizing nothing is totally owned, only given by God, one sees that God is incomprehensibly wealthy and that having money is not…

When the founders wrote the Constitution they wrote it based on what had thrived within many previous civilizations and people groups such as the Roman, the Greek, and the Hebrew which happens to be, the Bible. Research shows that, the U.S. Constitution was written by deriving ideas from several different philosophers, and many principals and passages from the Bible.…

This God, known as the Creator, Elohim, is all powerful and sovereign, formed us in His image and placed within us the desire to know Him, fellowship with Him, love Him supremely, and worship Him. The Bible tells us that God?s Spirt was moving over the water[footnoteRef:1], and realizing that He wants to be with us and that without His presence we will not have worship. Therefore, it is when He is with us that we respond to worship. Through the Creator we discover power in His voice, for when He spoke things happened. For example, In Genesis, chapter 1, God said let there be light, let there be lights in the sky, let there be plants, let there be birds in the air, let there be animals and let there be humans. This is not all that God did in creation but He put His stamp of approval on it. Shouldn?t we be like Abraham, Moses and David and learn to worship Him? Beyond that God devised a plan to call seasons into existence and establish weeks and years, and this was all a part for the time when He would make man in His own image so that man would have a relationship with God and that man would glorify and worship God. Finally, God revealed some things about Himself that we can attribute to our worship of Him. First, we discover God revealed that He rested on the seventh day giving us an opportunity to meditate and worship God. Second, He created man, enduring him with three essential life elements (breath, will and freedom of choice, and all three reflected the image of God). Third, God placed with man a desire for companionship and this desire lends itself toward worship and fourth, God created a reproductive cycle. Therefore, the window that God opened revealed and displayed His glory, allowing man to see His love and wisdom so that we could know Him better and have a desire to want to worship Him. [1: God?s Spirt was…

“Why, God? Why?” This all too common phrase can be heard in every language around the world. Throughout time people have always wondered how a supposedly kind, loving, and just God could allow such suffering and evil to happen to his children. How could he create some of his children poor, while others rich? Why are some beautiful, while others ugly? Some healthy, and others sick? Some find love, and others die alone? So many times, has God’s children looked to the skies and cried out, “Why, God? Why?” In finding the answer to this daunting question, other questions always arise. Questions like, “Does God really love us?” “Is he really all knowing?” “Is he really all powerful?” and “Is he really there?” These questions have been taunting philosophers throughout human existence, and while they have been able to find great truths here and there, the whole answer has only been found when asking God himself.…

    Is God Real?

    • 402 Words

When it comes to God the probability is infinite. No one knows what he or she is able of doing. Staying with that mindset there could be more than one God that exists among us. Who’s to say that only one being controls our universe? To see and hear everything surely could take more than one immortal. We don’t know for a fact, therefore all we can do is guess. God in reality is everything we touch, smell, eat, or hear. God is anything and everything, the great and mighty. We can argue the fact that there are unlimited amounts of “God’s” in the universe. For example, if God is everything and we have a paintbrush, that paintbrush is a God on it’s own. Or another example is that we are our own God, and there would be over six billion God’s in the world. If there is no actual one being guiding us, who will say which God has more power over the other? Or what is right or what is wrong? If that is the case then we are free to live life how we choose, and ignore any of the commandments. Right? We are our own Gods and are able to choose our own paths and the way we live it.…
