Killing the president is a bad choice and all the people that were involved in killing the president should be punished. George Atzerodt was told and forced to kill Lincoln, but in the end he did not, but he still deserves a punishment for being part of the group that killed him, but, he should not have a big punishment like most other people. I think George Atzerodt needs to be in jail for about 3-5 years, so he would not get in another group of people and be forced to kill someone again. Lewis Powell had to murder the secretary of state seward. They all didn’t have a choice, Booth was a tough leader and he was very strict about his goal.…

The Timken Museum is located in Balboa Park. The museum is permanently displaying Putnam Foundation Collection. This specific collection contains art work spanning from old American art to Russian Icons from the Moscow and Novgorad schools. I found that of the Italian pieces, the first that I enjoyed is Luca Carlevarij’s oil painting of The Piazzetta at Venice displays great depth and the dimensions. Because of the artists’ mathematical training early in his life, this scene portrays the view of the town from the Grand Canal, by using almost precise accuracy. The faces of the people in the painting were in depth and the lines used make my appreciation of it. The wide span of colors and hues were very intriguing by making the painting come to life. The light used was natural. The emotional al context of this painting was just the daily life of everyday people and the real beauty of that.…

In order to determine which of the two projects create more value, we must calculate NPV based on the assumptions relevant to the decision. The table below shows the NPV for the two product lines given discount rates of 7.7% (low risk), 8.4% (medium risk), and 9.0% (high risk). The Match My Doll Clothing line is currently rated as a medium risk project with 8.4% cost of capital. Given Emily’s knowledge of the industry we may be able to accept this; however, the firm should also consider whether children’s clothing lies within their core competencies and how different the market is from their current market for dolls. These factors could raise the risk rating to high. The Design your Doll project most likely falls into the high risk category due to the long payback period, new manufacturing processes, and reliance on flawless execution through a new web interface; however, the risk is potentially mitigated to the medium level due to the moderate fixed costs and the fact that it plays to the company’s key strength – creating a unique experience for consumers. Calculations for both projects include the terminal value assuming a 3% rate of perpetual growth, in line with the growth projections for US retail sales of dolls, and the growth of the US economy in general.…

I decided to do extra credit for a field trip to the Museum of Tolerance. On Sunday, March 13, I went to the Museum of Tolerance with my sister. The first thing I noticed was you can’t bring camera to the Museum of Tolerance. As for me, I love taking picture and I was very disappointed. However, I went inside to the Museum of Tolerance and I kind of understand why you can’t bring camera to the museum. The Museum of Tolerance, in my opinion, is one of the best museums that were ever created. It tells the story of Holocaust and shows how the Jewish people were treated during that time. The museum shows film footage of deportation scenes and simulated sets of concentration camps. Although the basis of the museum is the Holocaust, the museum also makes people face racism and prejudices. The museum is anything other than ordinary and it is a very educational experience that I had before Getty Museum.…

I had the pleasure of visiting The Miami Art Museum and was very impressed by what I encountered and viewed. I have never found interest in art until I got to see the museum. Throughout my exploration at the Miami Art Museum I was able to view a wide selection of art. In this venture, I viewed the most beautiful artwork I had ever seen, observed interesting non European/North American art, was alarmed by the most disturbing works , explored a breath taking exhibition, and actually found work that I would actually take home with me.…

My museum visit took place at the Michael Carlos Museum in Atlanta on the Emory University campus. The building in which the art was kept was quite special in detail and character. The art on exhibit there that of Southeast’s most distinguished collection of art and artifacts from ancient Egypt, Nubia, Greece, Rome, the Near East, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The art on display had a way of allowing me to take a moment to reflect on the time in a world that was ruled by many emperors, kings, and pharaohs.
