There is a lot of disadvantages in living in a big city. In a big city, you have to worry about crime. In a small town, you don?t have to worry about getting robbed. There is also a problem with pollution. Exhaust fumes from cars, trucks, and buses create health problems for people living in a big city. When a young person graduates college to look for a job, he or she would have to move to a big city for more job opportunities. Some people prefer a small town over a big city because a small town is a better place to raise a family. Small towns provide better schools, a cleaner environment, and a less stressful place to live. Big cities have problems like overcrowded schools, high crime rates, and heavy traffic.
Both big cities and small towns have pros and cons. Some people like the peace and quiet of a small town. Other people like the excitement and opportunities a big city provides. Some small towns have big city problems like poverty and drugs. A big city can provide lot more than small town can provide like more places to work and more things to do. There is no way of knowing which is better because it depends on what type of person you are.
