His dad comes and says, “Time to go to school Nate is snoring. His dad nabs the blanket and Nate wakes up and then he goes to eat breakfast. His dad says that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Is breakfast really the most important meal of the day? Nate asks himself.
Middle: Nate goes to school and he gets a whole bunch of detention slips. He also forgot his lunch since he was in such a hurry and he only had a fortune cookie. The fortune was “today you will surpass all others.” He got really excited about that, and he tries a whole bunch of things to surpass all others, Then when he tries to set a world record for speed eating, he ends up with a really sick stomach.
At the end, Nate turns in all his detention slips and he got a detention slip in every single class. Not only did he get all those detention slips he also got one from the principal and then he sets a new record for getting the most detention slips.
Nate did surpass all others by getting the most detention slips that a student has ever gotten.
I would like to be Nate because he seems like he likes to have a lot of fun in school and at home!
