No team is safe when playing a conference game.
With three weeks in the books, every team in the conference has a loss, and only Rutgers is winless. Even the Scarlet Knights have been competitive in spots, hanging close with Northwestern and almost knocking off Iowa at home.
What makes everything more interesting, is that there really aren’t any runaway favorites to win the title. Fans can expect a great race down the stretch and an even better conference tournament.

Their conference record doesn’t do this team any justice, in truth, they belong in the top half of the Big Ten.
Following their triumph over the Spartans, it seems like the perfect time for Ohio State to make a run. With so much parody in the Big Ten, the Buckeyes could win their next four and no one would bat an eye.
Although, the Cornhuskers have a truly superb backcourt with Glynn Watson Jr. and Tai Webster, they recently lost their best big-man to injury. Sophomore Ed Morrow was ruled out indefinitely last week after hurting his right foot.
The injury didn’t slow them down much against Michigan, as they hung close in a 91-85 loss. However, facing Ohio State will be a much tougher challenge in the frontcourt.
Ohio State has two talented centers, in junior Trevor Thompson and freshman Micah Potter. Thompson is an absolute stud and Potter is improving each game he plays, the pair could have a huge impact against the depleted Husker frontline.
Look for Ohio State to get their 6-10 ATS record closer to .500 in this one.

Five games in, the Nittany Lions have already knocked off Michigan State and upstart Minnesota. It’s plain to see that their group of talented freshman are getting more comfortable with Division 1 basketball.
Although, they won’t reach the NCAA Tournament this year, the Nittany Lions are well on the way to college basketball relevancy.
Playing against Indiana will be a tough task for Penn State, as the Hoosiers are more experienced and itching to prove
