Global warming is the warming of the earth's atmosphere. For many years
humans have been blamed for causing global warming. Global warming, however, can
be caused by natural effects. One reason is that the earth is constantly going through
periods of warming and cooling. Second the two most abundant greenhouse gases water
vapor, and carbon dioxide both occur naturally. Third the earth is not the only planet
that has had a change in temperature over the past few years, other planets have also
had changing temperatures. I belief that global warming is caused by natural things and
not humans.
The first reason why I belief humans are not the cause of global warming is that
the earth is constantly going through periods of warming and cooling. The earth has a
yearly cycle it goes through. People that think that global warming is manmade say that
we are in the hottest period in history . This is not the hottest period in history the
Medieval Warm period, which occurred from around A.D. 900 to 1300, was a period of
substantial climate warmth . After the Medieval Warm period there was a period of
climate cooling known as the Little Ice Age. The Little Ice Age occurred around A.D.
1300 to 1850. Today the earth is in the warming period.
The second reason is that the two most abundant greenhouse gases both occur in
the environment naturally. One of the most abundant green house gases water vapor
accounts for between 1% to 4% of the earth atmosphere
(www.humanscauseglobalwarming.com). Carbon dioxide which is the greenhouse gas
people say is causes global warming accounts for only .0387% of the atmosphere
(www.humanscauseglobalwarming.com). Also 99% of all carbon dioxide that is in the
atmosphere is caused by decaying plants and ocean activity
(www.humanscauseglobalwarming.com).
The third reason is that earth is not the only plant that the temperature has
changed. If the earth's temperature is rising because of manmade things then why would
other plants temperatures by rising too. Other plants in our solar system that are heating
up are Mars, Pluto, and Jupiter(www.livescience.com). The sun fluctuates on an eleven
year cycle (www.livescience.com).
The reason so many people belief global warming is a man made problem is
because that is all the media shows. The media does not show how global warming can
just be a natural occurrence. The media also tries to blame the increase of bad weather
on global warming but it is cooler weather that causes them not warmer weather. The
ice caps are growing and shrinking like they always have, and the ozone layer is just
fine (www.humanscauseglobalwarming.com).

This means that a period of colder global temperatures that features frequent glacial expansion across the Earth’s surface. Capable of it lasting for hundreds of millions of years, these periods are interspersed with steady warmer interglacial intervals in which at least one major ice sheet is existent. Earth is currently in the midst of an ice age, as the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets remain intact despite moderate temperatures. Humans to are responsible for the melting of the ice because of the burning of the huge amounts of fossil fuels. The fossil fuel discharges lots of co2 and that ultimately generates a lot of heat, which means the increase of heat therefore leading to increase of melting of the ice…

Earth's climate constantly changes, and many scientists believe that the temperature rises we see in this decade are a natural phenomenon that occurs every so many years. Around 25,000 years ago, it is believed that earth was covered by large areas of ice. And then, about 7,000 years ago, temperatures began to rise and the "Ice Age" came to an end.…

Temperatures have been fluctuating in the last 100 years and have increased in the last 30. AGW alarmists see this causing the glaciers to melt, the polar bears to die, and see levels to rise. All of this is based on computer models, which keep many of the variables constant and only show an increase in CO2. Variation in sun temperature is not used in the models…

Global Climate change is a term used to describe a gradual increase or change within the average temperature of earth’s atmosphere and its oceans. Global climate change is a rising issue in today’s society. There are various factors as to why the climate is changing; the factors are both human and natural. The human activities that cause climate change are burning fossil fuels, driving cars, and deforestation. The human causes are widely discussed but nobody ever considers the natural causes. Natural causes that contribute to global climate change are animal and plant respiration, volcanic eruptions, and the melting of ice caps. Although human activity is a main cause we still need to consider the natural causes because they are a huge factor when it comes to Global climate change.…

Global warming has been happening for millions of years through periods of glacial’s and interglacial’s. The last glacial period occurred during the last years of the Pleistocene, approximately 110,000 to 12,000 years ago and ever since then the earth has been warming up. However the change between the heating and cooling used to be for natural reasons but now scientist are beginning to think that humans may be effecting this change meaning that the earth is warming.…

For millions of years, Earth has had its own heating and cooling system. Scientists have concurred that approximately every 1600 years, the Earth will either heat up or cool down. The ice age occurred approximately 20,000 years ago; thousands and thousands of year prior to human existence. Even when humans started to develop and become the top predator in the world, they were still not emitting greenhouse gases like humans do today. As the ice age started to end, glaciers and ice caps shifted…

This article was written following an opinionated editorial that was published challenging the evidence of human-induced climate change. In this article there are numerous lines of evidence that the author claims leans toward the fact that global climate change is manmade. He states that carbon dioxide in our atmosphere has increased over the last 200 years. With this evidence compared to ice cores revealing direct measurements over the last 900 year, the increase in temperature stand outs immensely. The temperature increased during the Industrial Revolution, a time period in which humans released massive amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere through deforestation and the burning of large amounts of coal, gas, and oil. A second Reason that he states humans are the reason behind global climate changes is the polar ice caps melting. The polar ice caps are melting at an alarming rate and will result in less than half of the Artic covered in ice by the time summer comes around. Also with the polar ice caps melting there is also the melting of glaciers. They are retreating at the highest rates ever documented. With the retreating of these glaciers is the depletion of the freshwater supply. The author rebuts the statements of those who believe climate change is natural by saying that the climate is warmer than other warm phase the Earth has been through. The reason the Earth is going through this period of abnormal warmth is due to the climate not having been exposed to the greenhouse gases previously. He states that the amount of heat that the sun provides has been decreasing since 1940 and that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has been thrown off by human’s excess production of it.…

You may not notice the difference, but plants and animals do. It is getting warmer because of what the Earth's 6 billion people are doing. Because of the way we lead our lives, we are changing the Earth's climate. We are making the planet grow warmer.…

The Earth’s climate changes in response to external forcing, including variations in its orbit around the Sun (orbital forcing), volcanic eruptions, and atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations. The detailed causes of the recent warming remain an active field of research, but the scientific consensus is that the increase in atmospheric greenhouse gases due to human activity caused most of the warming observed since the start of the industrial era. This attribution is clearest for the most recent 50 years, for which the most detailed data are available. Some…
