No one is perfect, however I always strive to live at my greatest potential. I want to aid those who need assistance and inspire individuals who also want to make a difference. I would like to build up on my current understanding of bioengineering and science so that I can develop solutions to medical problems that appear impossible. For my part, some of my interests are prosthetics, cancer treatments, heart problems, and environmental efficiency. All of these have some link to human beings and how one may live. Perhaps, I can create a more effective robotic limb or make tissue for repairing heart attack damage. By expanding research and development to further refine in these topics, I wish to enlighten the world by adding another step on the path of medical achievements.
Inevitably, my generation will be the next group of artists to handle the world and sculpt it into a more sophisticated place. If my own handiwork changes the world to make it just a bit better for some individuals, I would have lived knowing I did my part. The stories of science fiction envisioned inventions that could save lives. With the Discovering Medicine @ Stanford program, my aspirations of constructing medical creations that will enhance the way the world works are no longer the speculations of yesterday’s science fiction; they will be transformed into the innovations of our
