The child is mostly taken care by the brothers and sisters who give him most of their attention. The family always wants to ensure that the child receives all the care he deserves. According to the article, “He was a teacher to his brother, and he has grown up to be a more intense thinker; he’s studying business management, and his brother is more easygoing, independent; he’s studying leisure and recreation and has an internship at a golf course.”(Carey). The author mentions that the young brother always learned something from his older brother making him avoid a lot of mistakes when growing up. So they will grow up very well. For example, some kids have some brothers who tell them what thing is good, wrong or what to do or not to do. That behavior is helpful to the young child. However, it’s not much good because it makes the young child more dependent in life. This is because by the brothers helping him to solve his own problems, he will learn to be dependent to someone else other than self therefore giving him more challenges in life.
In conclusion, parents should use different ways to educate their children because they will copy everything they see from them as they grow up. I think parents are the biggest influencing factors.
