The steps are a process and we cannot get to the destination easily just because we want it, saw it, like it, or need it. Today’s society is tormented by their vision and when we see something we have to get it. Sometimes people get things too soon and are not ready to have it yet. Therefore, God had ordered the steps so that we can learn to be patient in life and grow within ourselves. When we skip a step in our journey, God will make us wait, slow down and/or repeat that step once we get it right. The key scripture in this sermon was 1 Corinthians 2:9, “But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him” (ESV). God is not preparing the blessing for us, he is preparing people for the blessing to come. God’s great blessings are already ready, but we must be ready to obtain
