Intercultural communication is quite important because it helps other people deal with others cultural background without judging it in the first place. Although sometimes, dealing with other people is challenging and difficult. For instance, not having enough conversations and poor relationship can lead to lack of intercultural communication. For example, Hadiya Roderique (2017), mentioned that her kindergarten teacher thought that she has an intellectual disability because she was just sitting on the corner, reading a book, pretending that she's with other children, and not playing with the other kids around. Communication is very important in people's lives. It is one of many other ways to be able to talk or to get along with other person. In addition, lack of interracial can lead to lack of intercultural communication. For example, when Hadiya was on the subway, reading a newspaper with her father, a lady across her asked what's all about in the newspaper. Hadiya replied that she's able to read it. Out of nowhere, the lady's mood shifted and get mad. Hadiya asked her father what's wrong, the father replied, "It's because you're black. They hate it when you're very bright." (Roderique, 2017, para.35). Moreover, Hadiya also learned how to box herself to make other people comfortable. Based on the examples mentioned above, not having enough conversations and poor relationship, and lack of interracial are signs of lack of intercultural communication. On the first example, Hadiya's kindergarten teacher thought that there is something wrong with her, and it is all about because of having no conversation and poor relationship to each other. Move up to the second example, the lady doesn't want Hadiya to become better, possibly because in Hadiya's color and the lady doesn't want to outshine them, which is the white people. In this case, the author got the emotion of his/her readers. It is hard
