Black Widow Non Chron Report
Black widow spiders are arachnids, who are known for the females unique appearance and tendency to eat their mates. They are considered to be the most venomous spiders in North America, however their bite is rarely fatal to humans.

What do Black Widows look like?

Male and female black widows look different. The female are the most distinctive with shiny, black bodies with a red hour-glass shaped mark on their underside. The hour-glass can also be, on occasion, an orange-yellow colour. The females are about 1.5inches long, where as the males are about half this size. Males are lighter in colour, with red or pink spots on their backs.

Where do Black Widows live?

Black widows are found in hot countries thought the world, including the United States, southern Europe and Asia, Australia, Africa and much of South America. They may be found in dark, dry shelters such as barns, garages, basements, outdoor toilets, rat holes, bins and bushes.

What do Black Widows eat?

Like many spiders, the black widow spider eats other spiders and insects that get caught in their webs. The female spider hangs upside down from her web as she waits for her prey. This pose shows off her bright markings which are a visible warning to potential predators that she is toxic. The markings, however, do not appear to fright off the prey. That is likely due to differences in how birds and insects perceive colour. Black widows eat flies, mosquitoes, grasshoppers, beetles and caterpillars. After the prey is ensnared in the web, the black widow uses its comb feet to wrap the prey in silk. Then the black widow punctures its prey with its fangs and injects a toxin into the creature and then sucks up its bodily fluid.

Using literary devices and various tones, Grice communicates his overall theme: evil can be found everywhere, just as it is found in a black widow.…

The start of the scene is set on a Spaceship in modern day time. The camera is on a panning shot on Loki’s face, the lighting on his face is shadowed to show the mystery and uncertainty of his character. He senses that black widow is behind him and his facial expression shows happiness in the fact that he wanted her to be there. When black widow is shown on screen, the shot used is a long shot, this suggests that she is exposed to Loki and there is no where for her to hide. However, low key lighting is used on her, which means there could be a hidden intention she has. The costume widow is wearing is black and very fitting and tight on her body frame, which proposes that she is a character of trust, authority, and order. Reverse shot is used for the vast majority of their conversation, and then the camera pans as Widow walks towards Loki in the prison this could mean that she has no fear of the villain. rummaging through the attic and getting reminded about all of the memories, they come across a family of spiders. These spiders are described as being "round black blots, large as a cat's eye" (24) and in a sense, disgusting enough to send shivers down any persons' spine. This description of the black and creepy spiders is a foreshadowing of all of the memories that Obasan and Naomi have, as the memories and the plot itself is quite dark and horrific. There are many "large and black" memories that Naomi has such as the death of her mother and the incident in Old Man Gower's bathroom. However, it is possible to assume that the blackest memories are the ones that deal with the racism towards the Japanese community. For example, it seems that everyone who has ever had an effect on Naomi, good or bad, has deserted her with time. Also, on the way to school, Naomi and Stephen are…

Scholars have yet not agreed where exactly in Asia the plague originated from, research and further investigation have led to the possibility of coming from north-western or south-western China.
