Income elasticity (Ei): A measure of the response of a consumer to a change in the income of consumers has on the quantity consumed of a good, either more or less. Most goods are considered normal goods, also called superior goods. The income elasticity of demand for normal goods is positive since the amount demanded of normal goods rises when incomes rise. However, meiosis results in sexual reproduction, in order to create multicellular organisms, occurring in only animals, humans, fungi, and plants, whereas mitosis occurs in all organisms. Mitosis only goes through one division, has the same number of chromosomes, and creates only two diploid cells. Meiosis undergoes two divisions, the creation of four haploid cells, and half reduces the chromosomes.…

Before any teaching session begins I would establish some ground rules with each new group of learners. I would explain the reasons for having these and promote discussion about what I expect from them as learners and what they can expect from me as tutor. I would most likely opt for a flip chart to write these down and use this activity to encourage participation by asking the group what they feel is important to them in terms of respect for each others individuality and what they feel is acceptable behaviour, this could include learners writing the groups ideas onto the flip chart or writing their ideas down, collating them and selecting the most appropriate and relevant ones which would then form the basis of an agreement. Examples of ground rules being respecting for each other, turning mobile phones to silent, not interrupting each other and allowing opinions to be expressed, do we allow swearing and if so at what level do we draw the line. Having established these ground rules I would suggest to the group that I draw up an agreement in the form of a list that we all adhere to and can refer to. I would also agree with the group the consequences of infringement of the agreement, this may be in 3 stages, 1 being polite reminder of our agreement, 2 being a discussion in private between myself and the learner and 3 if the infringement continued the learner would be asked to leave the course. This would underpin what the group agree to as appropriate behaviour and that they have set the boundaries and consequences…

Introduction It is often accepted the concept of management has been foreseen as the forefront of all organisational (Ng, 2011). Mullins (1987) highlights, management is perceived core fundament for the effective operation of a work based organisation. Throughout, the literature it is widely explored upon, the general concept of management. Moreover, there have been many studies which focus upon the different styles of management (Stamp, 2007). In addition, due to the rapid development and diversification of organisations, there has been considerable amounts of research into the communication systems used in relation to managers. (More, 1998; Poon et al, 2003). Furthermore, the research of Varey (1996) highlights, there is the need to study what managers and those who are managed mean by communication and what they do and do not do when communicating. The purpose of this analysis is to investigate the failures of the management of the NHS childcare services, which led to the tragic death of Baby Peter Connolly. Due to the tragic loss of such a young life, an inquest was made into how such a tragedy was allowed to occur. Therefore a full…
