Blue Gator Observation
Three of us dined at the Blue Gator today. First the good stuff. We ordered 2 salads and a Child's meal, all of which was good. I felt the food came out in a timely manor. It appeared to me that the restaurant was clean. We were there at 2:30 so they were not busy at all. Now the not so good stuff. At lunch and dinner it's very popular with the locals so it's hard to park at. There is only a hand full of parking spots and only one handicapped parking spot. After that is full you have to park on the opposite side of a busy high way and walk through traffic dodging heavy trucks and speeding cars. Then most of the seating is outside in the Florida heat, they have large noise floor fans blowing air that helps but it's still hot in the summer and

Chick-fil-A has an award winning customer service that does not happen without extreme attention to detail. With most fast food restaurants, speed is the top priority, a strategy that produces high volume, but leads to notoriously inconsistent and impersonal interaction with customers. Chick-fil-A is different. Its staff is swift and attentive. Chick-fil-A employees strive to complete orders within 90 seconds in the drive-through window and 60 seconds at the counter. Also, at the end of every transaction at Chick-fil-A you will not simply here “thanks” or “see you later” or “come back” but rather “My Pleasure.” This really makes the customer feel important and special. Due to company values,…

    Texas Roadhouse Analysis

When driving up to the roadhouse on a Saturday night, the first thing the eye sees is a parking lot full of cars and a big, neon sign reading “Texas Roadhouse.” Neon signs can be a very powerful tactic to pulling people inside. The color and brightness suggests fun and warmth. Neon also triggers certain images and places to come to mind. It often associated with bars and alcohol. This subconscious link may attract certain people and repel others. When families with small children go out to eat, they may not want to go into a restaurant that reminds them of bars and rowdy people. The same goes for older folks who prefer a nice peaceful country dinner. They might be better off next door at the Cracker Barrel. Others love the idea of a fun, energetic place to eat with an old school jukebox and Johnny Lee blasting. Texas Roadhouse is also known for its country music that is always coming through the speakers. They play all kinds of country music- from bluegrass to the newest Taylor Swift single. By being the only genre the restaurant plays, it could potentially lose costumers due to the fact that they hate country music. Although many people love it and think it goes perfectly with the style of the roadhouse.…

The Chesapeake Bay produces the largest amount of crabs in the United States. The Blue Crab or Callinectes sapidus, are mainly found in the deep waters of the open Bay among the waving strands of the bay grasses. The Blue Crab takes advantage of its' opportunities when it comes to food and feeds on live and dead fish, crabs, clams, snails, eelgrass, sea lettuce, and decayed vegetation and other foods which it is able to consume. Blue Crabs grow by the process of molting in which they shed or take off their outer hard shell and the soft shell under it eventually becomes another hard shell to help protect it from dangers which lurk and try to feed off the crabs. The difference between the male and female blue crabs can be told by the abdominals…

Second, we had a very talkative and rude waitress. When we first sat down we waited almost 30 minutes just to get our drinks and appetizer put in. On top of getting our drinks late, we had to keep asking for refills. I don’t expect a waitress to keep all drinks completely filled, but when every drink at a table is completely dry, I would think they would need a refill. Paying almost $2.00 for a drink is ridiculous enough, so I try to get what my money is worth. Also on top of all of that, our waitress kept talking to the other table near us while standing at our table. I would have rather not had a waitress and have done it all myself.…

Have you ever thought about how “Romeo and Juliet” would have ended if communication was effectively used throughout the whole play? As soon as the guests walk in this restaurant, they get a great sense of relaxation. With all the decorations it makes guests feel like they are in Italy. The casual clothing lets people feel tranquil and more like home. The laughs and loud conversations give the feeling that being with a large Italian family while eating great food really is always a plus. While parking in the parking lot, the first thing that catches the guest’s eye is the beautiful landscaping and how well it was maintained. Olive Garden is overall very well maintained and clean.…

The casual attire of Applebee’s made me feel relaxed like I was having dinner at home, it’s not too fancy but if you wanted to, you could dress up. They have the football game playing for all the people who wants to sit at the bar, get a couple of drinks and watch it. The décor on the wall represents all the high schools and their football, baseball, or basketball teams which I think was a great idea and see that they care about these schools, these kids, and the hard work they put into the sport they fell in love with. Pulling into the parking lot, everything on the outside is clean. And they have their balcony which is another place for people to eat decorated beautifully with lights going around the railing and the tables and chairs are put in a very organized manner so that whoever does sit out there doesn’t feel too closed in or too close to another guest. I found the restaurant overall very clean and maintained, despite the little bit of trash underneath tables from people dropping stuff and leaving it there.…
