Wincing in pain, the boy tried to hoist himself out of the low bed he had found himself in but it was to no avail. With a loud crash, that alerted the entire household that the once sleeping Link was now conscious, he fell to the ground landing sorely on his knees. His mother, a wispy woman of thirty-five, rushed into Links bedroom, her eyes wide as she rushed to pick him up from his sprawled out position on the cold floor.A grunt escaped his lips as the skinny woman, who was at least a foot and a half shorter than him, tried to lift him.

While telling her the story he still couldn't believe it himself. Bokoblins were never in Hyrule field anymore and when they were there were only two or three wondering at a time, there had never been a huge hoard in the last thousand years. So, then why in this modern age had they attacked? It just didn't make any logical sense. But then he remembered what Impa had told him and he had the strange feeling this was only just the beginning. After his mother has administered some much-needed painkillers Link could finally get out of his bed without wincing or falling to the ground. It was a relief because he knew his physical for the tournament was today. He wasn't sure how he was going to explain to the doctor on duty how he got all of his wounds but, I didn't matter because hopefully if was lucky Link wouldn't have to take part in that goddamned spectacle. But it seemed Link was not a lucky person. After his mother made sure there was absolutely nothing life threating about any of his injuries, Link was forced to haphazardly limp his way to the doctor’s office where the physical was held. When he got here it was much to his dismay to at least sixty people waiting in line to see the
