Bollywood Actors with no controversies

A Bollywood actor with no controversies is like a lake without water or like a desert without sand, more popular they are more the number of controversies some genuine some hyped and some just take air from nowhere. From Shahrukh to Salman or from Katrina to Kareena all have had their share of controversies. Though most of the filmstars like to stay away from it, there are a few like Rakhi Sawant and Veena Malik who like to be in the epicenter of controversies (because probably that is the only thing that can keep them in limelight). But then again its not the case with everyone we still have clean actors in the Tinsel Town or what we call popularly as B-Town. So let us tell you a few stars who have stayed away from controversies as much as they could:
On the top of our list is;
Ajay Devgan, this sincere yet macho actor has always stayed away from any sort of controversial issues be it getting late on set, affairs with his co-actresses, love making scenes in movies or being involved with the underworld. He has always tried to maintain a distance from everything which troubles is happy family with the dusky beauty (Kajol). So he is rightly our Mr. Simple with almost no controversies over his long film career.
John Abraham closely follows Ajay, Initially with his relationship with Bipasha Basu he had no alleged affairs with his co-actresses inspite of being one of the most good looking men in the industry, no reported fights with other actors, no ego lashes, no making directors wait. Well no one actually has nothing against him to pin him down with any controversy, we only hear of John is when his film is being launched or he is endorsing some products.
Abhay deol, also made it to our list as he is one of the most decent and offbeat actors of these times. With films like Dev D and Zindagi na milegi dobara he has made his mark in the industry but has always stayed away from controversies. Even though he is a Deol but

    K. Cheng (1986) suggested that learning the geometry of enclosing surfaces takes place in a geometric module blind to other spatial information. Failures to find blocking or overshadowing of geometry learning by features near a goal seem consistent with this view. The authors present an operant model in which learning spatial features competes with geometry learning, as in the Rescorla–Wagner model. Relative total associative strength of cues at a location determines choice of that location and thus the frequencies of reward paired with each cue. The model shows how competitive learning of local features and geometry can appear to result in potentiation, blocking, or independence, depending on enclosure shape and kind of features. The model reproduces numerous findings from dry arenas and water mazes. Keywords: spatial learning, geometric module, Rescorla–Wagner model, associative learning, water maze…

    Scandals are seen in everyday life and throughout history. Scandal is something that brings about shame or disgrace to a community or individual. People document many scandals, and put them in newspapers, on television, the radio, and they even wrote books about it for others to enjoy. In today’s media we see celebrities “shunned” all the time whether it’s something as small as a bad wardrobe or bad habits they have to their crimes like one of the most notorious American gangsters known as Al Capone. As the scandals and shunning today are different today the media still does stories and writes articles of the person and tells the whole world of what they did and disgraces the person and shows them as a lesser individual.…

    Now in a culture strongly influenced by technology, communicating with an individual across the world is simple with the free program Skype. Also, travelling is becoming more popular; I have visited both of my grandparent’s home countries before either of my parents. Living in Canada, going to the University of Toronto, I see different cultures living, learning, and interacting together in one community. We are living in a very globalized world. Many would believe globalization is a wonderful term, yet the definition presents a few negatives. Globalization can bring changes that stray away from cultures deep traditions. For example, in the article “The Globalization of Bollywood: An Ethnography of Non-Elite Audiences in India”, it talks about how Bollywood films are currently influenced by Western themes and cultures. As result, the globalization of Bollywood is slowly diminishing India’s unique culture and film genre. With Bollywood turning Hollywood, it is believable that Western media may be directing several countries in a linear perspective. However, the movie “Slumdog Millionaire” portrayed the positives of globalization. Although Bollywood has strayed away from its original roots, “Slumdog Millionaire” brings back the excitement of Bollywood traditions through a U.K. production. Furthermore, the movie “Slumdog Millionaire” falls under a drama-romance category, but with the heavy Bollywood influence the film brings a relief from popular western themes.…

    The plot of this movie can be very well defined as a romantic quest for what is right and just in the world at that time. The film starts off in the early 12th century with a blacksmith called Balian of Ibelin (who is actually an artificier, or military engineer) that has just lost his wife to suicide and is given the chance to go to the Holy Land to seek forgiveness for her sin by his long lost father Godfrey of Ibelin. This becomes his secondary goal upon arriving in Jerusalem because soon after the start of their journey, Balian's father dies and passes on his legacy to Balian making him the new Baron of Ibelin. With the title comes the duty of defending Jerusalem in the name of the king and at the same time being the best knight he can be. He battles not only the Islamic leader Saladin, but also those in the same court (Guy of Lusignan and Reynald of Chatillon), as well as himself while trying to hold on to a secret love the whole time; the love of Princess Sibylla.…

    I would consider DDLJ one of my favourite movies as it is a timeless classic that has shaped Bollywood and Indian cinema. I first watched this movie as a child and it is one of the movies that had really stuck with me and almost everyone I know throughout the years. Growing up Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were household names because of how they were able to act their roles. It is a very emotional movie that kept me interested throughout the entire duration, which is a very hard task to do when I’m watching a movie for the 5th time. The character of Raj played by Shah Rukh Khan goes through a transition phase that for the first time in Bollywood which made it stand out for me as a NRI. We see the role of the typical good Indian boy switched into a macho alpha male which has previously always been played with a NRI perspective. Overall I believe this movie should always been shown in a class like this because it captures the elegances of Bollywood cinema and allows you to see how it has progressed over the years.…

    Indian Entertainment Industry

    • 67999 Words

    Welcome to PwC’s India Entertainment and Media Outlook 2011, analysing nine entertainment and media (E&M) industry segments. We have detailed key trends and challenges in each of the segments besides providing their future prospects. In addition, we have provided our views on tax and regulatory issues as well as the technology that is influencing the distribution of content in the industry. The year 2010 saw the global economy begin to recover from a steep decline which in turn saw a rebound in consumer spend, advertising spend and most importantly E&M spend worldwide. Advertisement in particular staged a remarkable comeback in nearly all markets. The world in general continued its shift towards ‘digital’ though the magnitude of change was different in many markets. India recorded one of the highest growth rates in the world at 11.2% in 2010. Yet, this was lower than projected, largely due to the negative growth in the film segment, with all the other segments growing as projected. E&M revenues in India continue to be largely non-digital with TV, print and film constituting almost 90% of the sector. While consumer preference continues to change, the shift to digital is hindered by poor infrastructure as well as affordability of broadband and mobile. Our forecast period does not show a dramatic change. However, just because the change is not aggressive does not mean digital revenues will remain irrelevant. We continue to believe that this situation is temporary and once infrastructure is in place, change will be rapid. The industry needs to use this time to prepare for the digital world. In this edition, we also present our views on the elements of the digital enterprise of the future. At PwC, we continue to monitor trends and developments that may impact your business now as well as in future. We appreciate your feedback and request you to continue to tell us what can make the India E&M Outlook…
