Boo Radley Locked Up Analysis

In this journal, I will be predicting that they will not meet Boo Radley. One reason I think that they will not meet him is because he is locked up. The first reason I know he is locked up is that the kids have never seen him. They have not seen him, but people say that he exists. The second reason I believe he is locked up is because he does not go to church or socialize with anyone. One Sundays the doors and shutters on his house are always closed which usually means cold weather or sickness. He also doesn’t socialize with anyone, which is something that is taboo in Maycomb Alabama. The last reason I know Boo Radley is locked up is because the sheriff locked him in the courthouse basement. The sheriff did not want to lock him up with all the Negroes in the jail so he locked him up in the courthouse basement, and later he was transferred to his own house but he is still locked up. First of all I think that the Ewells are gross. I believe this because they Burris has lice. Burris has lice and he does not do anything about it. Another reason I think the Ewells are gross is because Burris is “the filthiest human I have ever seen”(Lee 35). His neck is dark gray with dirt, his hands were rusty, and his fingernails were very black. The last reason I think the Ewells are gross is because they live like animals. They refused to go to school or get take a bath. Second of all I think the Ewells are bad. They only go to school once a year on the first day of school. This shows that they do not care about their education. Another reason I think they are bad is because Atticus calls them a disgrace to Maycomb. None of them have done an honest day of work ever for three full generations. The last reason I think that the Ewells are bad is that they don’t follow the law. The public allows the Ewells to not obey some laws. I think that the Ewells are very gross and
