Plot: (Describe the plot in one paragraph.) Ruby has a huge crush on Caspar McCloud and ever since that incident, Ruby has gotten the opportunity to get closer to him. Caspar confesses that he has feelings for Ruby too and they start to get closer. Unfortunately, when Caspar ran out of the house that they were at to get his phones and his clothes that were in the middle of the rain, he got wet from the rain and it started to sting his skin. Caspar realized that he left his stuff outside, and wanted to go out to get them. Everyone in the house warned him to just leave it outside but he said that he needed his stuff because there were important stuff in there. The people who warned him let him go and Caspar quickly ran out to get his stuff. When he came back in, Caspar was wet from the rain. Everyone got freaked out and told Caspar to stay by the door and to not come any closer. Caspar told them that he was fine and that he didn’t feel anything from the rain. Everyone was still scared, and after a few minutes, Caspar’s skin got red and spotty. Caspar, staying at the door, started to scratch himself and his skin started to peel off. Caspar started to scream as the infected rain went deeper into his skin.
Opinion of the book so far: I still love this book. It has great tension in it and it makes you eager to read more. I would recommend this book to all my friends because it is actually really good. Also, if this actually happened we would probably know because of this book. Many teenagers would know this type of situation subtracting the natural disaster part because they go to a lot of parties if they are wilder than the
