In an imaginative world created by J.R.R Tolkien we share the adventure of a hobbit by the name of Bilbo Baggins. This on the other hand won’t be about Bilbo; instead I will present you another inspiring character from this story, Thorin Oakenshield. This story takes place in the world of Bag End. An interesting world where we encounter with many different creatures; hobbits, wizards, dwarves, elf, goblins and dragons are only a few mentioned that let us explore fantasy in a new and dangerous way.
Thorin Oakenshield’s grandfather was in the posses of a great treasure placed in the Lonely Mountain, which was then taken over and is now guarded by the malicious dragon Smaug. In order to reclaim his treasure, which is in Thorin’s belonging, he is in need of a very interesting company; Gandalf the wizard, twelve dwarves and a burglar-hobbit, Bilbo.

Finally, they enter the beginning of a very eventful journey.
Of course Thorin is one of the most important character of this book, the entire book evolves around this very proud dwarf. Thorin is the one besides the very wise Gandalf with the most knowledge and intelligence about the mountain, Smaug and the treasure. Throughout the book Thorin is often described as a stubborn, bulging and stern dwarf but he also has the great talent of playing the harp and singing. All of the thirteen dwarves often sing and bring joy to the story whenever they feel scared and unsure.
Thorin is the only
