Has there ever been a time when you had to keep a big secret from loved ones ? In the novel The Marino Mission, we meet Alexa , who is forced to go to Nicaragua with her mother. Then having to keep a huge secret. Alexa’s mission is complicated. The mission excudes secrecy by withholding info , being on a military base, and the loss of Peca’s baby. To begin ,Alexa’s complicated mission begins when she withholds information. Alexa soon realizes that something is going on and reaches out to her dad to warn how to test DNA. “She thought this through ,” (Chapman pg ) In addition , Alexa secretly tests Peca’s DNA in the labs. “Jose also seemed eager,” (Chapman pg ) He was very anxious and nervous about the situation.
