Bottled water has become a growing problem in the United States. It has taken a major toll on the environment and is polluting the Earth. The damage that it is causing is detrimental and leaving a lasting effect. About 1,5000 plastic water bottles are consumed every second in the United States. BPA, which is a chemical used in plastic, is exposed to humans when they drink out of water bottles. Studies have shown that the BPA can lead to many negative effects in human health such as cancer, neurological difficulties, fertility, and premature labor.
