Introduction
When I first heard the name of the film; ‘Bowling for Columbine’, I thought this was a movie only about the Columbine High School Massacre in year 1999. I was wrong about it. I think he is the only one who has done something about gun arms, there has to be done more about it. I really think it is a great movie; it is the best documentary I have seen in my life. It is humorous and disturbing, and I believe Michael Moore planned this out – to amuse and scare the viewers at the same time, while watching this movie. I gives him thumbs up for choosing such a hard subject, but still making space for a little bit of fun. That is extremely good. Michael Moore speaks from his own point of view in “Bowling for Columbine”, but he remains a balance between subjective and objective, and that gives a space for our own opinion, it also gives us a reason to think twice.
This documentary really has my attention, and I have seen it three times. It has still not gotten old and boring, because Michael Moore has the viewer’s attention. I think it has a stance between a film and a documentary, but it is irrelevant because we know it is real. Before I saw “Bowling for Columbine”, I knew it was easy to get access to guns, but my mind almost got blown up, when he went to the bank and got a free gun, because he opened a bank account, although there were some security checks etc.
