may think Boxers are national hero.In my opinion,there's no absolute “good” or “bad” after I read
these two books.The main characters,Bao and Vibiana,are in opposition.However,they have many
similarities and differences,and when I see things from the view of the other side,I only feel their
motivations and actions are just common and reaonable.I think that's the most thought-provoking part

Interstingly,when Bao and Vibiana crossed their lives in the story,the author used a lot of crossed
panels in two books to illustrate their different view.For example,there was a scene that before Boxers
started attacking Christian town,we saw that Boxers represented Chinese gods from Bao's view.
It gave me the feeling that they came for justice and righteous.However,from Vibiana's view,Boxers
looked savage.Those people came with rage and wanted to murder them.It was impressed that we
saw these crossed panels in the books.I think readers can easily be influenced from the emotion
