Brad Blanton: Honestly, Tell The Truth'
Lying, false and untruthful. In the articles “Brad Blanton: Honestly, Tell the Truth” by Barbara Ballinger and “Rejecting All Lies Immanuel Kant” by Sissela Bok, they argue that lying is never allowed because it leads to many complicated situations. Lying can lead to humiliating your friends and hurts the liar’s mental state.
Ballinger states in the article “Brad Blanton: Honestly Tell the Truth,” that lying can humiliate your friend. For example, your friend decides to take you dress shopping for her sweet sixteen dress. She tries on many dresses and finds a dress she thinks is the one. Sitting there you know the dress looks odd on her but don’t have the guts to say the truth. You sit there and smile and say, “It looks amazing on you.”
