Brad Heming Biography
On September 13,1969, a baby boy was born in Dyersville, Iowa. His name is Brad Heims. Growing up, he lived on a dairy farm with his mother, his father, his brother, and his two sisters. He had lots of pets including a black lab, calves, cows, and a horse name Princess. He always took Princess to the fair and won many awards with her. Brad’s nickname was Peanut and he was afraid of needles from a bad experience with a doctor. He remembers that his great grandfather ran moonshine for Al- Capone, an American gangster.

In school, Brad was a well-liked kid and was above average in academics. Brad’s favorite subject to study was science and he loved playing football. Something surprising about Brad in high school was that he liked to cook. Brad’s best friends were a group of people that he would go hunting with. They’ve been hunting together since 16 and are still in contact. Brad went to Wisconsin School of Electronics where he got his associates degree in science.

Brad’s first job was at Menards when he was 18. He now works as a pipeline worker for a company called NPL (Northern Pipeline). He lives in Iowa but goes to work all over Illinois. He travels to Illinois during the week and on the weekends, he is in Iowa.

His daughters names are Emilee, Elleyna, and Annika. Brad’s son's name is Caleb and his girlfriends name is Lisa Kaune. Lisa’s sons’ names are Donovon, Kacey, and Joshua Kaune. Brad’s goal as a parent is to try to take care of, provide for, and fulfill his kids with what they need. Brad strives to have good relationships with his children. Brad’s definition of the word “family” is “when you work together, provide together, and go through hard and good times together and thrive through it and grow”. Brad thinks his children see him as fun-loving and hard-working. Brad describes his parenting as average and that he’s learning
