The second example where Odysseus shows bravery is when he had to be tied to a chair to resist the song of the sirens. He showed bravery because he again, put his men before himself and remained loyal to the ship. No one could resist the song but luckily, he was strong enough
to resist and remain on his path to home.
The last example where Odysseus showed bravery was losing all his men on his way home. Having ships filled with men only to lose them all must have been a devastating moment for him. He has been gone for twenty years and now he loses some of the closest people to him. Showing bravery, he set sail on a small raft with only Athena on his side. He stayed strong and didn’t lose his hope of home. He was forced to keep his cool and keep sailing or else he could die as well.
In conclusion, I think that Odysseus showed bravery in many ways while remaining loyal to his home. I think he not only was very brave but remained loyal to his hope of home and family. He is very brave for trying to get home for twenty years having to go through everything he did on his way.
