My first story that i will be writing about is The Boy in The Striped Pajamas . I chose this story because I think that there is a lot of bravery in this story. For example Bruno goes out to be with Shmuel when he is not supposed to be. Bruno does this because he thinks that the new house is boring and he wants to explore. Shmuel also shows a lot of bravery, he shows a lot more bravery than Bruno. For example Shmuel tells the truth when Lieutenant Kotler asks if he was stealing anything. In paragraph 42, it states “Did you steal something from that fridge?”
There’s bravery in this story but not as much as bravery in The Boy in The Striped Pajamas. For example Mr. Frank had to leave when he didn’t want to. He did not know why he had to leave, he also was not very happy about it. In paragraph 11 it states “I’ve come to say good-bye… I’m leaving here, Miep.” Mr. Frank was also brave when he told Miep to burn his papers that he got. For example in paragraph 21 he says “ Burn them. All of them.” In paragraph 23 when he read Anne’s diary he wasn’t sure if he should burn her
