First day I started Training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu about six years ago, and after a few trips
To Brazil, I have discovered that it is one of the most beautiful countries I have been to.

Preview Statement: First I will talk about the cuisine of Brazil, and what makes it so
Special. Secondly I will talk about some of the amazing sight’s someone can see while
Staying there, and last but not least I will talk about the Famous fighting sport of Jiu-jitsu
That is very popular in Brazil, and now all across the world.

Main I: Let’s first begin with the cuisine and what people would expect to eat if traveling
In town or around the boardwalk, you will happen to notice many little restaurants with signs
That say Churrascaria, these small restaurants have some of the best steak in all of South America.
They have many different types of meats that you can order, and once ready, they are served by the
Chef’s themselves. Another popular food in Brazil would have to be Acai, it is a Brazilian berry that was discovered in the depths of the Amazon, and is popular among the surfers and jiu-jitsu players of Brazil.
Acai is usually served with granola, bananas and strawberries. No matter what you like to eat you will
Always find something to satisfy your appetite in Brazil.

Main II: As you keep exploring this beautiful country, you will most defiantly run into some sight seeing
Adventure, The most popular place to visit would have to be the statue of Christ, although it may be difficult to get to, the view is well worth it, you can either choose to climb up, take a cab, or the tram.
The next place that is a must see, is Sugarloaf Mountain, it is right across the statue of Christ, and much easier to get to, as a plus it faces brazils top two beaches, Ipanema on the right and Copacabana on the left. Another popular place one can visit would be the Rio Carnival, although it only occurs once annually, before Easter, people look forward to it year round. The Carnival is the most famous holiday in Brazil and has become an event of huge proportions. The country stops completely for almost a week and festivities are intense, day and night, mainly in coastal cities.

Main III: Brazil is also a country that is big on sports, the two main ones are soccer, and Jiu-jitsu, which
Is a fighting style developed by Carlos Gracie in the 1900’s. Whether you’re a diehard soccer fan, or
A jiu-jitsu practitioner, you can always find an activity to do related to your favorite sport, you may want to visit the famous Maracana stadium in Rio and meet Brazils famous soccer team , or visit one of the Gracie gyms and watch world class athletes train, whatever you do, most likely you will have a great time. In general, Brazilians are very competitive people, they hold soccer and jiu-jitsu very close to their hearts, they hold competitions almost every weekend and have major soccer games every other week, that just shows how serious they are about sports and friendly competition

Conclusion: In conclusion, Brazil is a wonderful country, it offers a great deal of things thanks to its culture and diversity, no matter what you decide to do, or where you decide to stay, you are guaranteed
To have a good time, the culture of Brazil itself is just breathtaking, the people are friendly, the food is good, and the scenes are just amazing. Thanks to its strong roots and history, Brazil will always remain the great country it is.
