When I was 12 years old, I saw the list of bar top-notches on television and I promised that I will never settle for mediocrity and be the next bar top-notcher. I grew up along with the legal cases that my family has been trying to win for years now. They were fighting for the lands that some people stole from my grandfather. Seeing my family suffer is what motivates me to become a lawyer. I am currently taking up Bachelor of Arts in Communication Research because it would be a good foundation for my law school. Experience of working in a competitive and target driven environment and being able to think critically and analytically are just three of the skills that I get in the undergraduate degree that I am taking. Having a background in research would also prepare me to work in a formal environment and will enable me to explain complex material and concepts to people of different specialisms and levels of understanding. Having this Bachelor’s Degree is a stepping stone for my career. I have a number of goals that I want to achieve. I want to have a Juris doctorate degree in law, specialize in corporate law and have a masteral degree in research abroad. I am persevering to get the Bachelor's Degree in one of the most prestigious university in the country to ensure a good future in the corporate world. I also believe in the words of John Dewey that education is not preparation for life but education is life itself.

My Career goal is to become a paralegal. Unlike, most of the students that are taking these courses to become lawyers or to further their education in law, I am satisfied with just getting my associates in Paralegal. We are the ones who make the first initial contact with the client until after the attorney-client meets, research and investigate the facts of cases to ensure that all is relevant and the information is considered, prepare the work need for the closing, hearings and trials. All of this is what has attracted me to become a paralegal.…
