Rip currents are strong waves that take the water from the coast and take it back to the ocean. Over 100 people drown each year because of rip currents. Over 80% of the rescues on beaches are because of rip currents. In order to fight off mid-morning hunger cravings, eat a breakfast that is high in protein and dietary fiber. Protein rich foods create the feeling of fullness, while having fewer calories than foods high in fat and/or carbohydrates.
