My book is about a girl named Bella Swan and she moved to Forks, Washington with her dad, Charlie. She falls in love with a vampire, Edward Cullen. So Edward and Bella are dating, and Bella knows that Edward's a vampire, she knows about his family, his secrets, and now she wants to become a vampire. Bella wants to be changed, but Edward said that he would change her himself, but only AFTER their graduation, and AFTER they got married. So at that moment. Edward proposed and she said yes. They were getting married at Edward's house and right before the wedding began, Jacob Black came to talk to Bella. He was telling her that they were too young to get married, and it’s not with the right guy but Bella was trying to ignore him. Jacob has been in love with Bella his whole life but he knew that if he told her, that he would ruin their friendship. Jacob didn’t like her getting married, at least not with him, and he hated Edward.
Not only because Jacob was a werewolf. After Bella's chat with Jacob, she was having second thoughts, she didn’t know if she could get married. But when she laid eyes on Edward, it made her feel better. Just her knowing that he was her fiancé. After the wedding was over, they went to this island and went swimming, sight seeing, and they watched movies together.

At the beginning of the section Jaycee talks about Phillips mothers cocker spaniel, China. While reading this I made a personal connection to Jaycee because I have a cocker spaniel of my own. In preparation of the birth of her first child, Jaycee watched many baby TV programs on TLC. Again, I was able to make a personal connection here because TLC is one of my favourite channels on TV where I watched many of the same baby and new mom programs that Jaycee watched when I was little. Lastly, I was able to make another personal connection to Jaycee’s favourite authors, Nora Roberts, and Danielle Steel. These authors are a couple of my Mom’s favourite authors. I immediately thought of my Mom while reading this…

    Great Awakening

The Great Awakening arose at a time of questioning how an individual’s role manifested itself in religion and society. These ideas were brought about by Henry Thoreau and John Locke during the Enlightenment Era, which emphasized reason and logic and it allowed for one to realize the power of the individual and to view the universe in the light of scientific law. In response to the current Enlightenment ideas the Great Awakening went against these current popular beliefs and affirmed that in order to be truly religious one must feel and think with their heart and not so much their head. Although the Enlightenment Era was one of quarrel and question, The Great Awakening unified colonists and helped to set boundaries further in the separation of church and state.…

Suicide has been defined as "the act of self-destruction by a person sound in mind and capable of measuring his (or her) moral responsibility" (Webster 1705). Determining one's moral responsibility is what all of humanity struggles with and strives to achieve. Many forces act toward the suppression of this self-discovery, causing a breakdown and ultimately a complete collapse of conventional conceptions of the self. So then the question presented becomes whether or not suicide is an act of tragic affirmation or pathetic defeat. Which argument is more strongly supported by evidence found in Kate Chopin's late 19th century novella The Awakening? Most analyses of the protagonist, Edna Pontellier, explain the newly emerged awareness and struggle against the societal forces that repress her. However, they ignore the weaknesses in Edna that prevented her from achieving the personal autonomy that she glimpsed during her periods of "awakening". Kate Chopin chooses to have Edna take a "final swim" as evidence of her absolute defeat as an insightful study of the limitations that prevent any woman from achieving the ultimate goal of self-actualization. Simply put, Edna's awakening leads to her suicide. Newly aware of the meanings her life could take on, the awakened part of herself presents Edna with a command to take action. When Edna is unable to rationalize her old and new selves, she surrenders her life to the sea as an escape from domestic compliance and solitary freedom.…

I knew that “Twilight” will be my favorite movie when I saw it I was completely in love with the movie. The film is based on a novel “Twilight” written by Stephen Mayer and there are 3 more parts of book,” New Moon”, “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn”. I read them all of course and those are my favorite books. The movie is about a teenage girl Bella and her boyfriend Edward. Edward is a vampire. It’s a beautiful love story like no other: completely different. I’m sure that there will never be a story like this. That’s something what every girl dreams about, a perfect boyfriend who would do anything for her. And I think that the fact that he’s a vampire is so cool. But I don’t like this movie just because it’s a love story, I like it because of Edward. I already said that I love the fact that Edward is a vampire. Il like his superhuman powers. He can read other peoples mind, he’s cold, he can run fast, he’s so strong. I would like to have all of that. But it’s a love story, love story between a girl and a vampire. That’s the sweetest thing.…
