Abstract
This research paper focuses on the courting practices of the Chinese Filipino and its possible roots in prejudice and discrimination. A historical background of the Tsinoy is featured in this piece as a preview to the causes of intermarriages. The effects of these Intermarriages and the issues of racial tension, stereotyping, integration, and toleration are tackled. The paper is for the Chinese Filpino today in order for them to realize their role in Filipino society.
