Brent Staples Just Walk On By
There are many different types of people. We must accept people different from us because we are all human and there is only one earth if you can't accept another person there is nowhere for you or the other person to go. So then you each must accept one another. I believe that we should accept one another. In the short story "Just Walk On By" there is a black male named Brent Staples who was thought to be a mugger, a rapist or worse. People only judged him by his appearance that something as humans we should change. If we were to talk to him we would know that he is a well educated man and everyone want to accept someone that is smart. One the other hand, if Barack Obama was not a well educated man we wouldn't accept him to be are president.

    While surfing the web, I found out some very informative information about the life of Brent Staples. Brent Staples was an intelligent man, not just an ordinary man from Chester, Pennsylvania. He earned various degrees as different universities and colleges like a BA from Widener University in 1973, and a PhD from the University of Chicago in 1977.
