Brentwood Choosing A Foreign Language Analysis

One of the changes Brentwood should make is providing more foreign language classes. Spanish class is the only foreign language class Brentwood provides. This limits students’ opportunity to learn different countries’ languages. By providing more foreign language classes, students get a chance to choose a language they would like to learn. Giving students an option can let students to pay more attention to those class. When learning something you like to do, you learn faster than anything you have to do. Because foreign language classes are requirement, students have to take Spanish, but students in Spanish class have hard time during class. If students choose one class out of different options, they will choose what they really like to take, and that will increase students’ participation during classes.
There are some Spanish speaking students in here. Some students are fluent, and some can have a basic conversation in Spanish. These students are not learning very much during the class. Also, because they are learning what they already know, they can easily get bored during the class. Imagine that you are going to have to learn English again from alphabets during the class. You would not pay attention during that class. Also, the gap of Spanish speaking ability between Spanish speaking students and non Spanish speaking students make harder for teachers to make a lesson plan. Finding a way to teach a students with different abilities are very
