It is very rare to be named a Renaissance man in today’s society, and to receive such great awards and do many achievements. Brian May was born to the honor to be one of those men. In many ways he has been compared to Leonardo Da Vinci. Brian’s amazing way to come up music by himself, be an outstanding Astrophysics, and he was a loving man who loved to support animals. Brain May is one of the Renaissance men in today’s society.
His music is one of the remarks he has done. A well-known hit “We Will Rock You” Brian claimed that “We Will Rock You” came inspired by a dream. The beat of the song was inspired also by his studies with sound waves, and also by fans beat when they would sing along. “I woke up with the "We Will Rock You" lyrics in my head and had it written in about 10 minutes.” Brian says about his song “We Will Rock You”, in an interview. In 2005 May was ranked 39th out of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time. As with many Renaissance men they wrote with what they would dream, think about in a normal day. Poetry came from within, you could not just force the words come out. They flow from in you to the paper, which is what Brian did that many Renaissance men did.
May being busy with his schedule, with the Queens, he was an amazing Astrophysics. Astrophysics is an astronomer that studies the physical properties of Celestial bodies. He studied for a Ph. D, he wrote a book called “Bang!” which was published in 2006. It talks about The Big Bang, space and many other scientific interests. Like Leonardo Da Vinci, both were skilled at music, poetry, and science. “I love being an astronomer, you find out things you would never think you would ever imagine” May says at a speaking about his book.
