Compare and contrast the media censorship/free speech in the United States with one other country. You can choose to compare/contrast the countries on the censorship/free speech within one media form (television, films, the internet, social media, newspapers, books, etc.) or you can use a more general comparison which takes into account multiple media formats.
Research and examine the effects of censorship/free speech for governments and citizens.
Write a 1,000-1,300 word paper, discussing the following questions:
• What are the differences and similarities between the United States and the other country you choose when looking at media censorship/free speech?
• What effects does censorship/free speech of the media have for governments and citizens? What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of media censorship/free speech?
