Brief Biography Of Theodore Roosevelt

Theodore Roosevelt was an American statesman, author, explorer, solider, naturalist, and reformer who served as the 26th President of the United States from 1901 to 1909. He was born October 27, 1858 and died January 6, 1919. Roosevelt won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1906. He was the first president to leave the country. On October 27, 1858 Roosevelt lost his wife and mother on the same day. As a child, Roosevelt witnessed the Abraham Lincoln funeral procession. People called him by different names had go by TR or Teddy. Teddy was the youngest president. He had six children four sons and two daughters.
