Brief Summary Of John Steinbeck's Of Mice And Men
George and Lennie arrive at the bunkhouse. They meet “The Swamper”, Candy, he tells them the boss is mad because they missed the morning shift. Candy shows them to their bunks. When boss comes in he questions them about their skills. George answers for Lennie, which makes the boss suspicious of their partnership. The boss proceeds to ask them , why they left their last job, George answers saying the job was done. The boss gives them their assignments and leaves. Candy returns with his dog. The boss’ son, Curley, enters and tries to intimidate Lennie. Curley’s wife enters looking for Curley. Lennie becomes fascinated with her making George warn him to stay away from her. Carlson enters the room asking Slim about his new puppies. Supper is
