Brief Summary Of The Crucible By Arthur Miller
The Crucible Arthur Miller was born on October 17 1915. He was an American writer. The Crucible is based on a true story that happened during the Salem witch trials that took place in the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1692 to 1693. Arthur Miller then transformed the story to a play which then turned into the movie The Crucible.
One of the very first conflicts is seen in the play between John Proctor and Abigail Williams. They had a relationship that Abigail has not been able to move on. Since Proctor is now married to Elizabeth, Abigail turns on his wife. The message in this conflict is that John Proctor should have ended things with her completely.
