Introduction:
Colombia is an independent country that is situated in the northern region of Southern America. It has a projected population of about 42 million that shares its border with, Brazil, Peru, Panama, Venezuela and Ecuador. Colombia is considered as a unique country having unique culture. The culture of Colombia is influenced by the blend of its residents that belong to Spanish, African and Indian origins. Colombia is having diversity in all aspects including its climate as well as the geography that makes it a hometown for most of the richest natural resources of America. These resources include coffee, fruit and petroleum etc. There also exist a number of political conflicts and class differences in Colombia. The social group in Colombia consists of unmixed Europeans. Adding on, the elite class is considered as the oligarchy which basically enjoys wealthy treatment from the society. This social group is so separate from the masses that it can also be catered as a separate caste. This difference of income and social status separates the elite class from the general public. Not at all like the top of the line, has this social affair had few open entryways for social compactness. Social stratification is pretty obvious in the lower classes of Colombia because people are malnourished, ineffectually housed, uneducated and contamination ridden.
