B. Bronchitis is an illness related to the respiratory system in which our ability to breath gets affected because of an inflammation of the mucous membrane in the bronchial tubes. Two different stages of the disease can be presented; the acute, which is a short-term chest cold, or the chronic, in which the inflammation persist and remains as a daily chough becoming a more serious condition that needs specific medical treatment. Then, the physician performs a physical examination using a stethoscope to listen to the lungs, in search of the signs listed before. Moreover, if symptoms are prolonged or severe, a chest x-ray may be performed to check for a more serious condition. There are many ways in which we can prevent bronchitis. First of all, if the person is a smoker, he would have to quit. As soon as the person stops smoking, he might feel that the mucus start to increase, but this is actually a good sing because it means that the lungs are starting to get clean and later the cough would fade. Another recommended method is to maintain a good hygiene by washing your hand correctly and frequently. Moreover it is important to get the yearly flu vaccine and pneumonia vaccine. Finally, we should prevent ourselves to getting expose to chemicals or fumes that are toxic to our lungs because it would make the lungs' task of filtering pollutants
