Brue Jenner Argument Essay
This topic took a few twist and turns along the way. However, I do agree with the concept of; born a man your DNA reminds a man and vice-versa. I do think it is hilarious just people in this country find Brue Jenner courageous. The transgender has be going for on for years and anyone who has traveled oversea would know that. Maybe because he came out on TV and in front a large population that has never really encountered transgender but in the movies. I was listening to a therapist on the radio who had good points on the subject. He said Jenner is confused and he does not deny that fact. The therapist also said that Jenner was going to intense therapy before the change and has increase his visits since the change. The conclusion the therapist

The author employs sufficient sources and data to support her claim. Miller cites from various and professional organizations to strengthen her argument. For example, Miller utilizes a study done by Bettina Hoeppner from Harvard to illustrate the discrepancy of alcohol consumption between men and women. Miller often refers to NIAAA for her argument and uses the data from NIAAA as a baseline for excess alcohol consumption. Miller also seems to favor one specific intervention program, the BASICS program, that helps to prevent and decrease dangerous drinking activities among teens and young adults.…

If I would to be a Hollywood producer and if I remade this for a 21st century speaker, I would use a celebrity person named Miranda Crosgrow cast as a speaker, and I would set the scene in San Diego, California. The reason why I would put it in San Diego, California, is because it is very nice there and there is a lot of people to be found there that can be useful for a lot of things. There are Celebrities there as well. It is just a good city overall since it’s in California anyways, where there is good weather, a good scenery is always good. The “Seven Ages of Man,” by William Shakespeare’s play I think that Miranda Crosgrow would be good as the speaker and I could compare her to this act of William Shakespeare’s scene. Miranda Crowgrow played…

step a person can walk farther in life. Both figuratively and literally with a helping hand. It is hard to make it throughout life without any assistance. With this in mind, dating back to the 1700’s society has focused on making the world easier to maneuver but, not without the use of a stool. It is just like a friend that helps give direction when life is a little hard. A stool is a friend in that it supports a person in his hardest time, guiding him in the right direction while still letting him go his own way.…

I know we all keep up with the Kardashians, but are we keeping up with Bruce Jenner and his gender transition? Slowly and slowly Bruce Jenner is becoming more womanly. We all see it and have questions of our own whether it’s true or not. But because he is a celebrity and it might not be acceptable to some people in society, it is kind of put on the back burner. This example with Bruce Jenner only leads to bigger problems between intersex children who are actually both male and female but are forced to pick which one at birth they want to be basically formed into. Although Bruce Jenner was born male he later decides to transition to female, but the man word I will stress is “decides”. Intersex children should not be “assigned” a certain gender but rather allowed to go undecided until they decide which path they want to go in for themselves. The same thing applies to transgender individuals, who shouldn’t be ridiculed for deciding to go in a different path.…

In Sean Flynn’s article, “Is Anything Private Anymore”, he argues whether or not our privacy is being invaded and why we should protect ourselves. I honestly agree with Sean’s argument because it’s true how everyone’s information is being hacked. Privacy is a diminished subject for all citizens, which is being exploited or exchanged with different markets. Today, in our society people want to have as much privacy as they can, but unfortunately we can’t always get what we want! Pretty much everything that we do is being used against us either in a bad way or good way. America is supposed to be a country of “freedom”, but as you can see it’s really not. Since privacy is now set as a high demand people will do anything to gain information on another person.…

It is a fact that most of the people who smoke are aware that it’s not good for them. Then why they continue smoking? Maybe they do it because they haven’t really become conscious about all the effects that smoking has. There are a lot of reasons they shouldn’t smoke and to talk about all of them will probably take me much more than a college essay length. But I personally think there are three important reasons why smokers should stop smoking.…

The world we live in has changed a lot in the last thirty years. Our children used to take lunch boxes to school, play hide and seek and eat homemade cooked meals on a regular basis. Nowadays they eat lunch at the school cafeteria or they pick up a soda and a bag of chips from one of the many vending machines located on school properties. They also enjoy playing video games in front of the TV and since their parents are busy, they replace dinners with pizzas and frozen dinners heated in the microwave. “Junk” food has slowly become a part of our lives the way we know it. We see it everywhere: in our schools, on TV commercials and in our homes. “Junk” food it is affecting children physically and mentally. Even if we try to keep our children away from it when they are home, they still have the possibility to choose it in schools. Schools should get in a partnership with the parents and help them keep the children healthy and happy by banning the “junk” food that has a great impact on children’s health and behavior. Some people might say that children should have the free will but we, as parents, have the responsibility to lead them in life and to teach them to choose the best way not the easy way out.…
