Access Hardware is committed to the principles that are outlined in this Sustainability Policy. Compliance with environmental regulations applicable to our operations and supply chain, products and packaging are continuing priorities. We continually work to raise environmental awareness of employees across the company and build a sustainability culture through effective networking, programs and training. Access Hardware is committed to continually improving our Environmental, Health and Safety standards, culture and performance, and will transparently report our performance goals and metrics. We will continue to maintain appropriate controls, including
periodic review, to ensure that this policy is being followed.
Since sustainability policy is such a new area for companies to be focusing on, there may not be much data available for you to use in determining what results your sustainability policy should provide. Nevertheless, you still have your own data from your own company’s experience. Monitoring and revising the procedures in relation to outcome expectations can keep the sustainability policy focused and directed. Evaluating whether a procedure is serving the needs of the company will help further new initiatives, keep communications high, and motivate staff towards continued excellence in sustainability commitment.
Continuous improvement is an ongoing cycle of review and evaluation of your processes and procedures in organisation. Having a continuous improvement policy helps to refine the way to do things to make it as effective and efficient as possible. Having an improvement process that all staff and stakeholders can contribute to the improvement. Having a continuous improvement process can also help to reinforce your commitment to creating a positive work environment and create a proactive and planned approach to improving how things are done.
